DENVER MUSEUM RESIDENCE

The Wall borders the main space in a Penthouse Unit in the Denver Museum Residences. Comprising 30 x 22 in the main space, it wraps into the adjacent Library. American Clay earth plaster was used to create this original artwork, a first for this relatively new material. Striations reminiscent of a rock face were created, with the goal to achieve an effect that was subtle enough to work harmoniously with the overall design. The geologic theme reprises Daniel Libeskinds original inspiration for the Museum and the Residences, and the Rocky Mountains that are seen in the distance.
